Lama giler aku tak update blog. Bukan apa, kadang-kadang rasa malas..kadang-kadang terlampau sibuk dengan kerja. Banyak corporate exercises berlaku sejak kebelakangan ini. Seperti biasa, department pun busy macam nak rak.
Dari saat dia mula pandai senyum sehinggalah dah pandai berguling-guling atas katil (Pantang letak, terus nak pusing). Sekarang pun dia dah pandai tidur mengiring macam orang besar.
Adam was the first one to enroll (with a special price lagi!). Aku bersyukur sangat...
Aku sangat seronok menjaga Adam di hari minggu.
Well, that's a brief stories about my Baby Adam. I end this posting with the following interesting story:
Some orders made by the Court are remarkably effective.
Consider this order made by Samuel King, District Court Judge in California on 18 February 1986.
His Honour was right royally fed up at that time.
He was having great difficulties empanelling juries for cases in his Court. Bad weather invariably prevented a large number of potential jurors from turning up on time or at all.
So his Honour passed the following order.
“I hereby order that it cease raining by Tuesday.” Tuesday was 18 February 1986.
The order proved extraordinarily effective. The rain stopped that day and California was struck with drought for the next 5 years.
The story does not end there.
Concerned that by some supernatural means he was the cause of the drought, his Honour attempted to undo the damage. At the very least the attempt could not hurt, he reasoned.
So on 27 February 1991, he passed the following order.
“I hereby rescind my order of February 18, 1986, and order that rain shall fall in California beginning February 27, 1991.”
4 inches of rain fell that day. For the next few days it rained non-stop. In fact it was the heaviest rain to fall on California for the previous 10 years.
His Honour commented that “This is proof-positive that we are a nation governed by law.”
His Honour is now a Senior District Court Judge in California. He no longer makes orders governing the weather.
Till then..Assalamualaikum
